Commercial & General announces plans for $30 million homemaker centre in Mount Gambier

South Australia’s leading developer Commercial & General is finalising plans to deliver a $30 million homemaker centre in Mount Gambier – bringing the former manufacturing site for Fletcher Jones back to life in the process.

Relevant approvals for the proposed 12,000 sqm homemaker centre will be lodged within the coming months.

Located at the intersection of Jubilee Highway and Pick Avenue, current planning for the new centre would see it completed in early 2024 subject to approvals.

“Fletcher Jones closed their factory in 2004 so we’re looking forward to bringing the site back to life and extending on its long-standing trading history,” Commercial & General Development Director Dwayne Erich said.
