Lombra Restaurant Opens at WEST

The retail offering at our award-winning WEST master planned community continues to go from strength to strength with the opening of new Italian restaurant Lombra Cucina.

Owner Davide La Scala, who is also behind Bocelli and Est Ovest, was already a Commercial & General tenant and we’ve been fortunate to have played a part in the growth of his business over a number of years. In fact, he was one of many small business owners at the forefront of our minds when the pandemic first started in 2020.

At the time, we took the decision to suspend the rent (#suspendtherent) for small business tenants for three months while also calling for other landlords to follow suit. It’s great to now see Davide’s success story continuing to unfold and even better that our WEST community and the broader western suburbs can enjoy his exceptional Italian cuisine. Strong small businesses like this make for strong communities.
