BP Willaston, a 24/7 service station, is an excellent example of Commercial & General’s full spectrum approach and commitment to delivering an end-to-end project.
This project also demonstrates the extensive skills at hand at Commercial & General, providing solutions for even the most challenging sites – in this case a sloping site, effectively solved by the construction division.
Fuel stations, require detailed design and comprehensive pre planning. The underground fuel storage tanks are one item that required significant focus and expertise. The layout of the site, designed to allow the tanks to be accessed in future, required Commercial & General to build the facility utilising complex building design in order to ensure efficient and practical outcomes. Programming of the tank installation is a challenging process requiring significant experience, again highlighting Commercial & General’s ability to provide exceptional outcomes, managed with precision across a diverse range of categories.
State-of-the-art
The project objectives were to design, construct and manage the delivery of a state-of-the-art 24/7 service station and convenience outlet. The refurbishment included a full demolition of existing site, rebuild and internal fit out where Commercial & General undertook entire responsibility from design through to completion with a turn-key outcome for the client.
