The Bunnings warehouse and retail facility on South Road at Edwardstown was the first ever build of this specific Bunnings design, the project required meticulous planning and management, due to its sheer size – spanning an entire block and its location on a main arterial road. The fully elevated building has a 20KPA floor load capacity.
The site chosen for this Bunnings bulky goods warehouse and retail outlet in Adelaide’s inner south-west presented diverse and significant challenges for its delivery. It had been used over many years as a multi-use industrial site, making remediation work and environmental considerations a fundamental starting point.
Strict delivery timeframes and specifications were set to maintain progress, as well as to ensure the client was kept informed and updated – an approach which resulted in a high level of client satisfaction.
