As a provider of freight services to some of Australia’s largest manufacturers and retailers, Cameron Interstate needed a modern and efficient space to house its operations in Edinburgh Parks.
The purpose-built, $6.5million logistics and freight transfer facility is an excellent example of Commercial & General’s concept-capital-construct business model.
All Under One Roof
Designed especially to accommodate Cameron Interstate’s operations, the facility incorporates some 6,200 sqm of high clearance warehouse, awning and corporate office accommodation, including a 20 metre cantilevered canopy.
Cutting-Edge Sustainability
Marrying cutting edge design with environmental sustainability, the project includes water sensitive urban design and stormwater re-use schemes. Adding to the environmental initiatives already included within the development, Cameron Interstate will be incorporating C-bus building management into the facility to reduce operational expenses and power usage.
The development to also provide significant external concrete hardstand area, recessed loading docks and sprinkled fire protection.
